Organizing Your Purse with the Pouchee Purse Organizer

Pouchee Purse Organizer

My purse is always a nightmare and I can never find anything when I need it, I was so happy to review the Pouchee purse organizer.  Being a mother of two toddlers I am always on the go, I don’t have time to organize my purse.  It’s a dumping ground for the kids, myself and my husband.  It seems like if someone doesn’t know what to do with something it ends up in my purse.  It’s embarassing to be at the store digging and digging around looking for my wallet, phone, sunglasses etc.  It was time to get organized.  When my pouchee arrived I was so happy.  I took the time to empty my purse of all the extra stuff I didn’t need.  I got the Urban Weave Limited Edition Pouchee, its White, Black and Hot Pink.  It has two circular gun metal rings with a magnetic closure.  It can hold a ton, trust me I put it to the test.  I loaded it up with all of the items that usually float around in my purse.  My phone, keys, sunglasses, lip gloss, medication, money, credit cards, gum, coupons, bibs, hair bows, comb and wipes.  It has a ton of pockets in various sizes and even a zipper compartment for change.  It fits inside my purse perfectly and now when I place the kids sippy cups and snacks in my purse nothing tips over and spills it all stays put.  The best part is that when I change my purse, I just need to pull my Pouchee out and put it in my new purse. No need to reorganize a new purse and take the chance that you forgot to put something in your purse.  You can purchase a Pouchee like mine for $26.40.

Organizing Your Purse

Pouchee comes in a variety of colors and fabrics.  You can start organizing your purse in fashion. In cotton it is carried in: green, black, pink, blue and purple; in leather it is carried in: black, brown, green, grey, and pink; and finally the posh collection is patterns such as ladybugs, cammobabes and houndstooth (there are many other colors available too many to list).  There is a color option for everyone.  We all know that as women we have more purses than we know what to do with so its awesome that Pouchee took this into consideration when they were designing these wonderful organizers!  They also have the Pouchee Plus which is a little bigger than the regular Pouchee and offers an optional shoulder strap.  You can use this for your bigger purses or use it as a small purse on its own.  This is a great gift idea for friends and family, I am going to get one for my Mom she is always digging in her purse.

Pouchee Purse Organizer Review

by My Secret Home

Most of my hand bags have no pockets insides, just a small zippered section on the side or a pocket for cell phone. I’ve always wondered why manufactures make them like that. Or maybe I just pick the wrong ones? Either way, my bags are always a mess on the inside, because I just throw everything in. I do have a separate make up case which keeps all my make up organized, but what about the rest of the stuff? I’ve always wanted a purse organizer to make my life easier.

Pouchee Purse Organizer has been creating online buzz for a while now and after having looked through their store inventory, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on one of these bag organizers. I got a Cotton Pouchee in red as it seemed to be the right fit for my life style. When my Pouchee arrived I knew right away that we would become the best of friends! I loved the color (obviously), cotton feel and size. It’s dimensions are 7.5″ in width and 5.25″ in height. The best size comparison would be a DVD cover. At first it looks flat, but it actually opens up quite wide. I was amazed at how many different sections and pockets Pouchee has. I love organizing (you wouldn’t know if you came over) and I knew just the stuff to fill up those pockets with.

What kind of stuff can you store in the Pouchee? Anything you could think off! It has credit card pockets on the outside, zippered pockets for personal stuff or money, outside pockets for a phone or glasses and inside pockets for small make up or keys. Pouchee’s design works great and it looks very stylish too. I love the addition of a polka dot line at the top, a little kangaroo character on the side and a magnet button on the inside to close the Pouchee shut. Pouchee also has two metal rings for ease of taking it out of your purse. The metal rings are probably my least favorite part as they make noise when they rub together.

(As I’m writing this, my two year old son has claimed the Pouchee saying “It’s mine, It’s mine!”. Will have to bribe him later to get it back!)

I love that my bag is now organized! My Pouchee is stuffed with overflowing store points cards, pens, band aids and tampons for a rainy day and many many other things. (Photo was taken before I really stuffed my Pouchee, but even then, there was a lot of stuff inside.) But Pouchee’s mission not to only organize your purse, but make your life easier if you want to change your purses to match your outfit. I actually have quite a collection of bags, but I never change them as the thought of transferring all my stuff from one to another scares me. I’m excited that now I can show off all my bags. And my friends are going to be so jealous of my Pouchee :D

Gift It: Pouchee comes in 4 different styles and many different colors to suit anyone’s taste. Know a fashionista or anyone who would benefit from a purse organizer? For a starting price of $24.40, you can make your girlfriends, daughters or mothers very happy!

Product Review: The Pouchee

by

During this purse-changing-on-a-daily-basis-season, I was fortunate to try something new and different.  With the holidays typically comes many-a-party and social commitments which usually require a purse change.

This season I had the Pouchee, a conveniently sized bag which fit inside many of my purses.  In the Pouchee, I put my most commonly used items and then easily switched from bag-to-bag.  I'm infamous for leaving lipsticks in all of my purses, not taking them out when I change bags.  The Pouchee solves this problem for me.  For the small and very dressy purses, the Pouchee was too big, but for my mid-sized and larger bags, it was perfect.

Pouchee Purse Organizer Review

by Closer to Lucy

I change my purse as often as I change my shoes…which is a lot!
I like to match :)

Problem is that I get hurried and start shoving and stuffing; I would totally hate to be in line behind me at the grocery store cause on a bad day it might take me a while to find my debit card.

I saw a Pouchee Purse Organizer for the first time on the “Good List” of a Good Housekeeping magazine. I was in the waiting room someplace??? I don’t recall where but I do remember thinking that I needed a Pouchee…lol, I love the name Pouchee, Pouchee, Pouchee, …It’s just fun to say.

purse organizer

Anyway I forgot about the “Good List” until one day I saw this lady pull one out of her bag and I immediately remembered.

I asked her about it, she kinda giggled when I said the name…I think she likes the name too.

She confirmed what I had remembered and said that she “capitol L-O-V-Es hers and that every woman who loves handbags and some sort of order should have one.

Handbags and Order? That’s me! If it were a TV series I would be the star.

I asked her to borrow a pen; which she instantly pulled from her organized Pouchee. I wrote in big capital letters POUCHEE on my hand so I wouldn’t forget to look it up when I got home.

Well I think we know where I’m headed here…. My Pouchee is a Pouchee Plus and I heart her, the bigger the bag the more heart she gets, especially when my favorite big bag has no pockets, then I really heart my Pouchee.

Pouchee is basically a mini purse that holds all my necessities. Mine is a larger version of the Pouchee Purse Organizer and comes with an optional shoulder strap. It’s perfect for organizing my big bag or I could use it for a small purse if I wanted.

The Pouchee Purse Organizer comes in a rainbow of colors so regardless if you are a one bag girl or a bag a day lassie you’ll find one that suits your style.

With my clutch clutter under control I’m free to shop for more bags :)

Review: Pouchee Purse Organizer

by Geekymommy Reviews

In a previous review (of the Mrs. Smith's Elite Diaper Bag) I mentioned that I use a Pouchee Purse Organizer, which I purchased with some gift money (thanks Grandma!) a few months ago.  I know it sounds overly dramatic when I say this, but it has changed my life.  It is so simple to run errands now that I can carry all my mom stuff in the diaper bag, without actually having to disperse my mom stuff into the diaper bag.

It is basically a mini purse that holds all of the essentials.  The one I have has pockets in all the right places (I'm not sure if they're all configured exactly the same way, as it comes in cotton canvas, leatherette, and an "ultimate" version).  There are two main sections on the inside, one big enough for my wallet (which is not dainty and small by any stretch of the imagination), and one that holds a small hairbrush, a pocket mirror, lip balm, nail clippers, a nail file, and any other smallish cosmetic thing I might need that day.  There are also a few tall narrow pockets that fit a tube of lipstick perfectly (so it doesn't get lost in the bottom), as well as a couple of narrow pockets that I use to hold a spare key for my car, and any store gift cards I may have (so I don't forget to use them).  On the outside of the Pouchee Purse Organizer, there are 3 pockets, all big enough to hold an iPhone, one to hold a pen, and several to hold commonly used cards.

One of the great things about the Pouchee is that you can just grab it and go - if you've just got a quick stop and you don't need your whole diaper bag, just grab the Pouchee and go.  If you keep your keys on a carabiner, even better - just clip the rings to your keychain and go handsfree.  If you are changing purses (night out, without the baby?  Why, yes please!) you just pick up the Pouchee and put it into your new purse (or any purse that's not your diaper bag).  And then you're done!  No panic about forgetting to grab your driver's license from one purse to another, if everything important is in the Pouchee then it's all you need to move.

It's sturdy and well made, and has held up very well so far.  I haven't had to wash it, but would assume that since it's made of cotton, I should be able to do my usual routine of putting it through the machine on the Delicate cycle, and then air drying... (don't hold me to that though, as I haven't tried it!)

If you'd like to learn more, check out their website at http://pouchee.com/ or click through on the embedded Amazon link to purchase.  It's not dirt cheap, but considering it's like buying an infinite amount of purses, $30 is not bad!

On a side note, the cotton pouchee purse organizer is machine washable - cold water, gentle cycle, and air dry!

Pouchee Teal Cotton Purse Organizer Review

by The Adventures of Paul & Natalie

I'm in love with the review product I recently received to review! The incredible product is from the great company, Pouchee. Pouchee is a smart company that has invented the Pouchee Purse Organizers. This product comes in handy when transferring your belongings from purse to purse. Pouchee is the fast and hassle free way to move all personal belongings inside a purse/bag to a different purse/bag! The Pouchee is designed to sit into your purse and to keep all your essentials in one safe place.

MY THOUGHTS

The Pouchee Cotton Purse Organizer was sent to me super fast. Pouchee has great service with fast shipping! I was really impressed with the product I received right away!

The Pouchee organizer is made with great quality and I can tell the Pouchee will last for a long time! I received the Pouchee Cotton Organizer in the teal color that has a cute brown with white polka dot border near the top of the Pouchee.

I will admit that my purse was quite the mess before receiving my new Pouchee product. I've always had a messy purse and I have never known how to organize it. I was real impressed with the Pouchee product I received. This product helped me organize my purse so well. I have never been able to find things so quick in my purse until now, using the Pouchee Organizer.
BEFORE

AFTER

The Pouchee Purse Organizer really made my purse tidy and organized. I have never seen my purse so organized before. This organizer helped me remember where everything was. It helped me so I didn't have to keep searching for my keys and lip gloss. Those are the two things I have always had the hardest time finding in my messy purse.

I was able to fit my purse contents into the Pouchee Organizer and I still have alot more room in it so I can add more items to the organizer if needed. The Pouchee comes with one zipper inside the purse organizer to store belongings safely into it.  Like cash, receipts,  or papers you'd like to save. I love that it has 2 snaps so you can snap close the Pouchee for your belongings to be secured without possibly following out if you were to accidently drop your purse. One of my favorite features is the pocket for my cell phone on the outside of the Pouchee. I also love the holder for my lip gloss because I can find my lip gloss alot faster now!

I can't wait to transfer my cotton purse organizer into a new purse soon! The organizer will make it so fast and convenient for me! Switching purses will be a breeze for me now!

The Pouchee Purse Organizer Inserts are designed to fit inside purses to make women’s lives easier and more organized. Not only does it have compartments for credit cards, cell phones, pens, sunglasses, and more- making it easy to find exactly what you're looking for- but it also makes changing bags for different occasions and outfits a breeze.
With the Pouchee Purse Organizer- all your essentials are in one organized place and handy rings lift the Pouchee Purse Organizer right out of your bag and into the new one - this is great for busy, fashion-conscience women because they can switch to coordinating purses in just a few seconds!

I love the Pouchee Plus in black! It is the larger version of the Pouchee Purse Organizer and comes with an optional shoulder strap. The Pouchee Plus is great for organizing large purses and for use as a small purse itself! I picked black so it would match with lots of the things in my wardrobe. I love being able to just grab the Pouchee Plus out of my large purse and use it as a small purse. It's a lot lighter to carry for just running in the grocery store etc.

The outback pouchee purse organizer is so sturdy! I really like that it stays in place in my bag and doesn't tip over. I also like that it snaps to keep the items safely inside. It's made of high quality faux leather, this compact purse organizer makes keeping essentials in one place easy and transferring between bags has never been more simple!

The cotton pouchee purse organizer is made of sturdy yet supple canvas. I love that I can machine wash this organizer! The material is soft and flexible. Since I love purses it is great having them all organized inside. Makes finding things so much easier! I like the handy rings to pick them up easy when changing purses.
Thank you so much Pouchee for the awesome products!

Is It Possible To Organize A Bottomless Handbag?

Is It Possible To Organize A Bottomless Handbag?

by Skinnypurse

I've been working on getting organized lately. Two kids have turned my world upside down in more ways than one. As a formerly organized person, I grapple with my new life of chaos - sleep deprivation combined with low productivity leave me feeling like I am losing my mind. Take for example, my handbags. They used to contain the usual items - wallet, keys, mobile phone, makeup, etc. - everything in it's place. Now, crumpled receipts mingle with snack wrappers, broken crayons and spilled liquids - Awesome.

I've seen ads for purse organizers, but never have tried them, until a company contacted me about doing a review. Pouchee sells a variety of organizational solutions for your handbags. After receiving a large handbag for Christmas, Anita Crook, got the idea to design a purse organizer, and the Pouchee was born.

After transferring many of my purse contents into a Cotton Pouchee ($24), I was ready to give it a try. I like how it has tons of pockets and room for items like cell phone, credit cards, sunglasses, etc. It is expandable, so great for both small and larger purses. I also like the top rings, for easy transferring from bag to bag. It's also washable - bonus! I carry a LOT in my bag, so the Pouchee doesn't fit all of my items, but it is a good way to corral the essentials.

Change Your Life: Launching a Million-Dollar Business

Anita Crook turned a simple idea into a thriving company

by Susan Crandell, The Aging Diva at Life Goes Strong

Six years ago, Anita Crook could not have imagined her life today, heading up a company with more than a million dollars a year in sales. In that short time, she's built a business that big without ever going into debt. Here's how she did it.

A Happy At-Home Wife Turns Entrepreneur

"In 2004, I was 58 and had a very nice life. My husband worked. I didn't. I thought it was a perfect arrangement. Our two sons were grown and gone," she says. "I had no intention of starting a business. But I have a hang-up; I don't like to hunt through my purse."

When her son gave her an expensive leather bag for Christmas, Crook was dismayed. "It was beautiful but it had no pockets to stow my essentials like keys and glasses and credit cards. It was just one big empty hole." She couldn't find an organizer to use with the purse so she designed one herself. A friend's daughter sewed the prototype and another acquaintance knew a manufacturer overseas. "The next thing I knew I had 2,000 Pouchees on the way from China," Crook says.

Learning How To Market and Sell

"I'm not a risk taker. The closer those Pouchees got to arriving, the more nervous I became. I'm not a sales person and I don't take rejection well. If I go into stores and they don't like them, I'll run out crying," she recalls. When the Pouchees arrived, Crook started visiting stores. To her amazement, every store ordered them.

Those first 2,000 Pouchees sold immediately. "Not being a risk taker, I ordered 5,000 more," Crook says. When she presented the business to an Atlanta-based rep firm that would market her organizers on a wider scale, she says, "I gave my presentation and I was so proud of myself. When I told them I had 5,000 in stock, their jaws hit the floor. 'That won't last a week,' they told me." They were right.

The business took off, growing 45% a year. Today, Pouchees are sold in 2,000 stores around the country, in Canada and across the world. Crook has four employees – a sales and marketing manager, an office manager, a bookkeeper and an assistant. Others have tried to copy the idea, but not with any success. "My design is patented and I have a pit bull attorney," Crook says.

Building a Business Without Borrowing

Crook sank $15,000 of her savings in the business at the start, but since then it's been pay-as-you-go. "In the beginning, I worked out of my home, shipped out of my garage and did everything myself. I opened a line of credit for emergencies but never used it. I had no overhead — just a computer, some software and boxes of Pouchees," Crook says. "When I hired an assistant, we worked side by side at the same desk. I don't mind spending, but I don't like wasting. Even today, you would not be impressed by my office. You would be impressed by my warehouse – that's a whole lot of Pouchees."

Crook says having no debt gives her freedom. "I don't have to answer to a bank. If the world stops buying Pouchees tomorrow, I'll sell off the inventory and go home. People tell me I should go on Shark Tank. But I don't want investors, I want to make my own decisions."

Running her business is a full-time job and then some. "My mother says 'I thought this was going to be a nice little hobby for you.' I tell her I did too," Crook says, laughing.

Helping You Organize

Highlighting the best organizing solutions, techniques and products available.

Reviewed: Pouchee

I'm not sure if you know this about me, but I tend to use things as long as humanly possible, and I don't have a lot of the same kind of thing in different styles. I have just one purse (a Butler Bag) and one wallet. My wallet, a red leather number that cost me fifteen dollars at the Ventura County Fair, was about seven years old and on its last legs when I went to San Diego for the NAPO conference in April. While there, I checked out so many neat products and got to see in person for the first time a product called the Pouchee. I'd heard about it from other professional organizers, and when I saw it I knew it would be my wallet replacement.

purse organizer

purse organizer

The Pouchee is basically a well-designed wallet with the feature of handles meant to make it easy to transfer from one bag to another. It also expands so you can put all your other pertinent stuff in it to make transitioning from bag to bag super easy. I don't use that feature often, but I do love the pockets, which are the perfect size to hold my cell phone and my iPod Nano. The zippered inner pocket holds my cash and coins securely and out of sight.

They come in lots of colors and in leather and cloth. I debated a good while over the red leather or the red cloth, but the cloth one was washable and seemed more what I needed. I've been using it ever since conference and couldn't be happier with it.

I recommend Pouchee wholeheartedly!

Pouchee Purse Organizer Review

by One Busy Momma

With my daughter turning 13 she is of course into having a purse with make up and all the other stuff that teens carry around with them. Well one thing I noticed about a month ago is that she really needed to organize her purse. She had so much stuff shoved in there that she didn't even know what she had lol. So we were so lucky to have Pouchee to the rescue!!

It was Christmas, 2004. At our usual Christmas Eve family celebration I opened the gift from my oldest son. It was a great, trendy shoulder bag which I loved but knew I would never use. There were no pockets, just one, big, empty bag. I had to have my pockets to organize my purse. I would normally spend days looking for just the right organizer purse with all the right compartments. Of course once I organized it I would certainly never switch purses, no matter how bad it looked with my outfit. It was just way too much trouble.
“If only I had a way to stay organized and change purses,” I thought. The search was on. I looked in stores and websites but found nothing that satisfied me. The pouchee® idea was born. Read More....

I have to say this is the best thing that ever happened to my daughter's purse lol. She fell in love with this the minute she saw it.
The Pouchee Purse Organizer has given her so much more room. She has little compartments to keep her School ID, Library Card and other little cards she carries around with her. She can put her cell phone in one of the outside pouches so she can find it easily and keep everything else such as money, change, and more organized with the different sized pockets on the inside too.
This really was a great idea for her birthday. She say's now all she needs is a new purse for it to go in lol.

How to help mom get organized

By Today's Woman Blog

This Mother’s Day why not help mom get organized with a Pouchee. What’s a Pouchee you ask? Pouchee is a unique, patented purse organizer. The larger mom’s handbag is, the more things get lost in it.The average mother’s purse carries Kleenex, pen, lipstick, checkbook, wallet, keys, Advil, sun glasses, cell phone, a granola bar, pantyliners, the kitchen sink.purse organizer pouchee

Ok maybe the kitchen sink isn’t in mom’s purse, but everything else is. Anita Cook knows this all too well and that is why she has designed Pouchee.

Browsing the Pouchee website I am amazed at the collections available,  such as the Versatile Cotton Pouchees, the mini handbag resembling Pouchee Plus Collection, and Faux Leather Outback Styles. purse organizer insert purse organizers

Sarah, Sales & Marketing Manager of Pouchee sent me my very own green Cotton Pouchee Purse Organizer to review.

I have tried other purse organizer systems and what I like about Pouchee Purse Organizer is that it is designed with a top fasten to close the organizer when used for storage. This prevents items from falling out all over my purse. There are multiple pockets inside the pouch, including zippered ones for lose objects like change, and expanding pockets on the exterior to hold my cell phone. On the opposite exterior side is a row for credit cards.

Pouchee Purse Organizer

view by Momma Told Me

Momma Told Me: The larger they make handbags, the more things get lot in the vast abyss that is my purse.

We all know how crucial a woman's purse is to her day; it's the center of her universe, the keeper off all, and accessory we use the most. The average purse carries a hefty set (or two) of keys, makeup, toiletries, wallet, change purse, hair accessories, sunglasses, phones, advil, tums, business cards, checkbook, and candy/gum. If your purse is anything like mine there's probably also an impressive collection of receipts and coupons, two forms of lip balm (or more), a loose key to a car you don't own anymore, some dead batteries (or spares), some bottle caps, and a variety of other forgotten, or 'just in case' items. It seems, no matter how much I organize the contents, I'm destined to 'lose' something in the abyss of my purse even moments later. So, when the

purse organizer

Modern purses seem to emphasize on fashion much more than practicality, as Pouchee inventor Anita Cook knows all too well. Gifted with a stylish, yet vast, shoulder bag for Christmas (2004), she found herself sad to know it's instant destiny. Like many busy, athletic, mommy, business women, Anita simply could not compromise the hassle of switching purses for the sake of fashion. Having her life in place, and at her fingertips (or shoulder) was essential, and the core purpose of a handbag itself. Personally, I seem to hoard a MacGuyver's toolkit of supplies and wayward items, which always engulf my keys, no matter the bobble or size of keyring. Without my keys the party is shut down- nothing can happen until the keys are found. This usually occurs immediately after leaving a checkout line. Don't you hate it when you get halfway out of a store, arms full of bags, and realize you don't know where your keys are? Then you turn around and walk back to the checker only to realize they got shuffled to the bottom of your purse during payment. Talk about frustrating!

Luckily the innovative, Australian inspired, Pouchee, offers modern, and simple, solutions to your purse organizational needs. I'll admit, long before practicality became a concern, the chic and trendy fabrics won me over. With collections such as the Fun and Versatile Cotton Pouchees, the mini handbag resembling Pouchee Plus Collection, and Faux Leather Outback Styles, I was amazed at the pricing and selection. I was sent a $24 Cotton Pouchee in Pink, with chic Black and White Polka Dot Trim, for review here on Momma Told Me. When my Pouchee arrived I fell in love with the playful colors and flirty accents, though I'd tried purse organizers before with little effect, so I grabbed my handbag and dumped everything out to put this playful Aussie product to the test.

Every purse organization system is different, and mot I've tried have been successful at first- that is, until I was in the swing of everyday use. In the past I've had issues with messy retrieval, where the organizer itself dumps contents during removal, or flat out flips on it's side during the day. The tri-fold versions have proved least stable, while the triangular cave in and shift while the purse is in use. The Pouchee is ingeniously designed with a top fasten to essentially close the organizer when used for storage. There are multiple pockets inside the pouch, including zippered ones for lose objects like jewelry or change, and expanding pockets on the exterior for cell phones and bulkier objects. On the opposite exterior side is a row for credit or loyalty cards. On darker versions of the Pouchee I've learned the interior is a lighter shade for pocket definition in poor lighting, and the actual canvas/cotton fabric is entirely washable. Never worry about spilled makeup on your expensive purse again, just wash your Pouchee!

My favorite feature of the Cotton Pouchee has to be the easy remove over sized, silver toned, loops used to pull the organizer up and out of your bag. The magnetic clasp inside helps hold both ends together, and the loops are stylish as well as functional for flawless execution. It's amazing how much this little Pouchee can expand to hold, as well as how many purse sizes it fits. At less than $25, thee make wonderful gifts for women of any age, and come in a variety of styles to match any taste.

Pouchee Purse Organizer

by Mom Blog

When I was contacted by Pouchee to review their purse organizer, I was thrilled.  I have one of those obnoxiously large bags that has exactly ONE pocket.  It’s a liner pocket and the zipper is broken.  Because I have a makeup set that comes in a tiny case, and still have my eyeglass case, and bag to carry tampon/pad at that time of the month, I didn’t mind. But in November, I got a Droid2 phone and that was a big problem, because the phone was just sliding around the bottom of my purse. It was also impossible to find, and while I don’t carry that much loose stuff, it would still get buried.  Not much fun when you’ve forgotten to put your phone on vibrate during an event, and you can’t find your phone.

purse organizer

The Pouchee Purse Organizer solved this problem for me, see?  Now it sits very nicely next to my wallet. Not only that, but the individual pockets give me space for my phone, my glasses (yes, I misplace my case sometimes), room inside for pens, business cards,  a comb, tissues (even loose ones!), extra plastic cards, and more.  (I seem to have a long list of small plastic cards, and I don’t mean credit cards!)

Pouchee organizes everything very neatly.  The best part is that is has so many slots that I can give my individual store cards (Weis, CVS, Borders, Giant, Wegmans) their own slot and don’t have to rely on bringing in the car keys.  (Can’t do that if hubby is waiting outside in the parking lot while the kids watch a movie.)  For me, it’s ideal.

The only thing I didn’t love about the Pouchee was that there was no way to fasten it to my bag.  That would be ideal, but I don’t have the logistics figured out on that one.  (Velcro??)  So it does slide around, especially if your bag is big and loose like mine.  I wedge my chunky wallet next to it, and that more or less keep it in place.  Still, it is an excellent organizer.  I can always find my phone in a heart beat.  What else is cool is that if and when I change my bag (and I’m due for a new one), I just pull out the Pouchee and I’m all set!  Easy as a breeze.  Available in dozens of colors in either leatherette or cotton, Pouchee also has a version with a strap, in case you just want to turn your purse organizer into your purse.

Pouchee Purse Organizer on Two Classy Chics

The Pouchee Purse Organizer Review

By Two Classy Chics

Today I would like to introduce you to the company called Pouchee who makes a variety of adorable purse organizers that are pretty to look at and functional at the same time. This wonderful company is owned by Anita Cook who is a 60+ year old wife and mom who knew there had to be a better way to keep our purses cleaned up and organized. Anita got busy and designed the Pouchee Purse Organizer and since then...she has been busy designing a variety of purse organizers in different sizes and fabrications. Just recently Anita added the adorable Jewelry Traveler to the Pouchee line up of products.

My Review: Anita generously sent me the "Original" Pouchee in their herringbone cotton fabric in the gorgeous teal color. This Pouchee has brown ribbon trim and I love the teal with the chocolate brown colors when they are combined together like this! The Pouchee has 10 outside pockets and 5 inside pockets (including one zippered pocket for added security) and it will expand to hold your cell phone, credit cards, driver's license, keys, lipstick, sunglasses, pen, money, checkbook and so much more! I love that the pouchee has a magnetic snap closure so you don't have to worry about spillage. The Pouchee is lined inside with a material that is cleanable with a damp cloth. I love the decorative rings so that you can easily lift the Pouchee out of your handbag or it is so cute and functional that you can carry it as a little clutch bag. purse organizer insert pouchee purse organizers

If you look at my photos you can see I have it stuffed with my cell phone, credit cards, hair brush, travel size pack of tissues, pen, lip balm, sunglasses, money, hand sanitizer and a few other things I like to carry with me. The Pouchee is shaped like an expandable rectangular box but way cuter!!! I love that it has a flat bottom so it will stand upright without falling over.purse organizer insert pouchee purse organizers

Overall Impression: Wow...there are a lot of things I love about this purse organizer! I love the shape and size...especially that flat bottom so that it doesn't tip over. I love that it has a magnetic snap closure so your contents don't spill out. I love all of the pockets that keep me organized and keep everything I need to carry with me handy. The fabrication is durable and this purse organizer is very cute!!! It is so cute that I plan on using it as a clutch when I attend a wedding in a few weeks. If you carry small handbags or clutches, this product will help your bag become more organized. I wouldn't personally use it in a large handbag. I highly recommend that you check out all of the fabulous purse organizers that Pouchee has to offer. I give this product a big two thumbs up!

Purse Organizing – The pouchee

by Sandy with Organize with Sandy

I found the pouchee purse organizer several years ago and liked it so much that I began selling it myself.  There are many purse organizers out there.  I have seen and tried a few other ones.  The problems I have had with those are that they are either too big, bulky and expensive or that they don’t have any handles and they are just pockets that line the inside of your purse. Those tend to fall down and get pushed to the bottom of the purse.

The pouchee has two ring handles. They fold down to stay out of the way.

The handles make it really easy to grab the pouchee and either carry it by itself into a store so that you don’t have to carry your heavy purse on your shoulder or to lift it out of your purse and switch it from purse to purse when you change your outfits.  I don’t do that myself, but I know many of you do switch your handbags often to match what you are wearing.

pouchee ultimate purse organizer

There are several features to the pouchee that help you to organize your things.

There is a divider down the center.  I keep my checkbooks on either side of the liner. I can fit all 3 of my checkbooks into the pouchee.

There is a zipper pocket for change or personal items. On the other side is another pouch that you can put your money, pictures or papers. The front has slots for discount cards, business cards etc. You can put a pen where I have it, or a pair of thin glasses fit nicely there too.

pouchee purse organizer

The other side of the pouchee has two pockets. Cell phones (Droid X and iphone do fit) There is also a pen slot on this side of it.

You don’t have to have a big purse to use the pouchee.  It works for smaller purses too.  Of course not the really small purses, but compare it to the size of the checkbooks that fit in the pouchee.

It is an awesome way to transfer your essentials if you don’t want to carry a purse and a diaper bag or purse and gym bag. Just pull out your pouchee and put it in your diaper bag or gym bag and you are ready to go.

Pouchee Purse Organizer Review

The Ultimate Purse Organizer

If any of you have purse organization failure like myself then you want to check out Pouchee Purse Organizer.  I think ever since I've owned my first purse as a child it's always been an issue to find something in it!  I always have to dig to the bottom only to pull out something I didn't needed or simply have a purse without any pockets where everything in it just gets juggled around and marinated.  I've even had my powder compact open up accidently in my purse which was a very dusty ordeal to say the least.

Pouchee specializes in bringing you the hottest and trendiest organizational power all in one bag!  The Pouchee bag fits right in your purse and has so many pockets that you won't have to hunt for your lip gloss or debit card.  It's easily interchangable from one purse to another so you never have to leave home without it and makes swapping purses a breeze!

I recently received a cotton Red Pouchee for review and I am very happy with it.  These are available in multiple colors and styles to suit your need.  I especially love that I can throw coupons in it just for a quick run without them getting destroyed by my keys, sunglasses etc.  It wonderfully fits my cell phone so that when it rings, I can actually find it without missing a call which is quite a change for me.  I even use mine as a standalone purse for quick errands.  It's so adorable that no one can even tell that it's not an actual purse or handbag.

Pouchee organizer puts messy purse in its place

by Helaine Williams of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

Tired of hunting for items in your purse? Tired of "losing" items when you change purses? Tired of overstuffing your purse with duplicates of "lost" items and collapsing (well, practically) from its weight?

You might try the Pouchee, billed as the ultimate purse organizer. "The Pouchee... will keep all your essentials organized and exactly where you can find them so you don't end up overstuffing your bag," according to a news release. The product ($24; mutiplie colors) resembles a large wallet somewhat, with 10 outside and five inside pockets. It expands to hold cell phone, credit cards, keys, lipstick, pen, money, checkbook and more things we ladies don't think we can do without. The Pouchee also bears large rings at the top for easy lift-out.

When Anita Crook’s son gave her an expensive handbag for Christmas one year, she groaned. It was a beautiful purse but it didn’t have any pockets. She thought “If only there was a way to stay organized and still use this purse.”?? And on Christmas Day in 2004 the POUCHEE® idea was born.

Pouchee Purse Organizer Review

y Masshole Mommy

Ever needed something in your purse and you spent a good few minutes searching feverishly for it?  If you have kids, you’ve probably had that happen to you on a regular basis, right?  With all the “extra” stuff you need to carry with you, it’s easy to put more and more “stuff” into your bag, but then you can never find what you’re looking for later when you need it!

The Pouchee  purse organizer is the solution to all the items that go missing at the bottom of your purse.  I am a Blistex addict and I cannot tell you how many times I’ve been in desperate need of my Blistex and I just couldn’t find it amongst all the other stuff in my bag.  Ugh!  With the Pouchee, everything stays neatly organized.

purse organizer collage - purse organization

I received the Jade Green Outback Pouchee (leatherette) and I couldn’t be happier with it!  I’ve tried several different purse organizers, but I think I like this one the best and it’s because of the size.  It’s 7.5″ x 5.25″ x 3.5″, so it fits perfectly in just about any purse or diaper bag!  I know, you see the 5 and the 3 and think to yourself “that’s not big enough”, but it is.  It’s truly the perfect size.  It’s deep enough to hold my beloved Blistex, my phone, keys,  my checkbook, lip gloss, gum, my sunglasses, a pen & notepad and my business card case.  And you know what, there is a lot of space left.  Honestly.  Plus, it serves as a wallet on the front side.  With five slots, there is enough room for your license & credit cards!

Purse Organizer - Jade Pouchee Purse Organizer

Features of the Pouchee:

  • The Ultimate Purse Organizer
  • Handy Rings for ease of changing purses and bags.
  • Outside pockets for pens, sunglasses, mobile phone, credit cards, keys etc.
  • Inside pockets for lipsticks or small flashlights
  • Inside Zippered pockets for change or personal items.
  • Inside dividers to keep everything organized.
  • No Wrapping – No Assembly – No Hassle Purse Organizer

The Outback Pouchee comes in 10 different colors to fit your style!  There is also a cotton Pouchee, which comes in 14 colors, so you can see there are a lot of options here!  And if all that wasn’t enough, Pouchee has a fabulous Posh Collection, which features three different print options and there are two different colors of their Jewelry Traveler available.

I am extremely happy with the Pouchee that I received.  It’s even great if you don’t want to drag your entire purse out with you.  You can just grab your Pouchee and go!  You can purchase your Pouchee on their website or at many local retailers in your area!

Review of Pouchee: the Ultimate Purse Organizer

by Parent:Wise Austin

This nifty item reminds us of the tiny little handbags we all carried around as kids. Designed by a 60-year-old mama to keep you organized even if you change purses often, the Pouchee Purse Organizer has slots for your credit cards, cell phone and other small items (lipstick, comb, sunglasses, etc.).

The idea is that, if you want to change purses, you need only grab your Pouchee rather than cleaning out one purse to stick all of your stuff in another purse. For mamas who routinely flit between a diaper bag and a purse, the Pouchee makes a lot of sense: it keeps everything you need close at hand. At just seven inches by five inches, the Pouchee is, indeed, small; for that reason, it has a ring on it so that you can attach it to the inside of your purse (or diaper bag) for quick retrieval. The company offers lots of different color options, in both cotton and leatherette. A fun gift for a busy mom — or a daughter who changes purses with the wind!

Pouchee Purse Organizer Review

by Moms Review 4 You

Pouchee Purse Organizer

I have been desperately needing some organization for my purse ... which I think that "purse" isn't even the right term these days. The latest trend in handbags are great big over sized slouchey (if that is even a word) bags. I love the look of them and I have a couple, but the trouble is that they have no organization or structure in them. So my belongings just scatter into the abyss of my bag. I was really happy when Pouchee Purse Organizer allowed me to review their purse organizer and I must say ... I LOVE IT!!!! It has been the greatest addition to my daily supplies. I keep my cell phone, lip gloss, loads of receipts (which before would just float around and make me nuts), Costco card, which always needs to be easily accessible and all kinds of other things. I really love it and I love that I can just quickly grab that and my wallet and switch out my purse with ease!

Pouchee Purse Organizer has several different types of organizers to suit anyone's needs. I love these as gifts, because I can't think of a single woman who wouldn't like a little more organization in her life ... well maybe I can think of one or two, but for the most part, this organizer would be a total hit!

Review of Pouchee: the Ultimate Purse Organizer

by Mom's Focus Online

Our Opinion on What Makes Pouchee Purse Organizers Different:

a beautifully designed with more pockets on both inside and outside, also it’s easy to zip to organize for the busy moms on the go. Great alternative to big purse and mini purse with no pockets. You don’t have to dig what are the items that you need inside the purse throughout the day. It makes women hassle free and enjoy their time to shopping, restaurant and cinema with family and friends. It’s genius to put it in the diaper bag and easy to grab it with metal ring. I am also impressed at its quality and how it changed my life. This Pouchee Purse Organizer always reminds me to hold all my necessary items that I usually forget to leave them at home. I always love to leave my essential items into it. I don’t know how I lived without it. It comes in different fabrics and colors that match any outfits.

Anita Crook, creator of Pouchee Purse Organizers, was interviewed by David Asman of Fox Business on Monday, September 13. In her interview, she talks about how pouchee: the ultimate purse organizer got started and she was able to turn an at home business into a multi-million dollar enterprise.

I recently was in contact with the Sales & Marketing Manager of Pouchee Purse Organizer. They sent me a Red Cotton Pouchee. I couldn’t be more excited. I love organization and my purse and diaper bag have been a total mess. I’m always digging around trying to find my key, cell phone, wallet, day planner, well, you get the idea.

I’m in LOVE with my Pouchee Purse Organizer. Since starting to use it I haven’t had any problems finding anything in my purse. The pouchee is big enough to hold my cell phone, day planner, coin purse, keys, photo album(small one I carry around with my kids photos in), my coupon book, camera, pen, business cards, and my kids health info, and I still have plenty of space to add more items. The organizer also has a zip up pocket that I put money in.

I would totally recommend Pouchee Purse Organizer to all women. Especially to mommies, although I think every women would benefit from this product, but mommies will love to be able to transfer the Pouchee from their purse to their diaper bag with ease and not have to search around the bags to find what you need.

Pouchee: the Ultimate Purse Organizer Review

by Menopausal New Mom

I've lost count of how many times I've turned my handbag upside down to dump its entire contents just to find one item that had somehow jammed itself deep inside the folds of the bottom.  Why is it when we find that perfect handbag, it comes with only one tiny zippered compartment and no other organizing options? Add to the challenge of keeping our handbags organized all the stuff we end up carting around for the kids and it doesn't take long before the inside of our handbags become a bottomless pit.

And don't even think about changing handbags to match an outfit or that brand new pair of designer shoes.  Too much work trying to get another handbag organized just for an afternoon or evening.

If you can relate to this, let me tell you about a niffy little item that promises to create an organized handbag that can easily go from bag to bag in seconds while keeping the contents neat and tidy!

Meet the handbag addicts new best friend, the Pouchee Purse Organizer.

The friendly folks at Pouchee sent me one of their fab little cotton numbers to review and there is no way I'm parting with this handbag must have!

Akron Ohio Moms Review of Pouchee: the ultimate purse organizer

by Cindy

Ever want to change between being a mom with a diaper bag to a woman with a purse but can’t do so quickly or easily because you have to fish out all of the essentials and transport them from one bag to the other? Or do you have several great purses that you like to go between to match your outfit or the occasion but no easy or quick way to transport the things you need? I have found the ultimate solution. The Pouchee Purse Organizer Insert allows you to transport all of the essentials from one bag to the next in 2 seconds flat!

Hands On Review of Cotton Pouchee Purse Organizer Insert

The Pouchee Purse Organizer gives you a place for all of your essentials. Simply put your essentials in this purse insert and transport the purse organizer from the diaper bag to your purse to your laptop bag to your bookbag -whatever in 2 seconds flat!

The Pouchee has 2 handy rings so you can grab and go, quite stylish too. There are 3 outside pockets for quick access to your cell phone, keys, sunglasses, flip video camera, digital camera, etc. Also on the outside is a place to store your driver license and credit cards (5 pockets that could hold at least 2 cards each).

Pouchee Cotton Purse Organizer Insert

As a mom, I need more than just a wallet. I need something that will hold ALL of my essentials, including my camera and flip video camera – both essentials for moms. With my Pouchee, I always know that I will have both because there is a spot to secure them. Of course these pockets could be used for anything else you consider “essential”.

On the inside, there are 3 compartments to store other essentials such as your lipstick, compact, Purell, comb, etc.  There is also a zipped change pocket inside. The entire Pouchee is just 7.5” wide, 5.25” height, and a depth of 3.5”. It is small enough to fit in any purse, diaper bag, laptop bag, bookbag, etc.

For this review, I chose the Cotton Pouchee Purse Organizer Insert. It comes in 14 colors to match your style. You can also choose from leather and Pouchees with designs. I was able to easily put the following items in the Pouchee with room for plenty more!

  • - Cell Phone
  • - Digital Camera
  • - Flip Video Camera
  • - Driver’s License and credit cards
  • - Comb
  • - Purell
  • - Lipstick
  • - Compact
  • - Small notebook with pen
  • - Coins
  • - Keys

I love the Pouchee Purse Organizer and the flexibility it gives me. I only wish I had this when I was carrying diaper bags around. I never had all of the essentials with me, stuff was either in my diaper bag or my purse when I had the opposite!

Great Product Idea? How A Patent Paid Off For One Upstate Woman

Wednesday August 25, 2010

Great Product Idea? How A Patent Paid Off For One Upstate Woman

by Diane Lee of WSPA News Channel 7

It all started with a Christmas present, a bag with lots of room and only one small pocket.

"I carry a lot of stuff, I gotta have my lipstick, and I gotta have my cards and I've gotta have my keys and I've got to have my glasses," says Anita Crook, who didn't want to throw out her son's  gift.  So she went in search of an organizer, and found nothing that really fit the bill.

I started thinking about it and I said, "well I wonder if I could design something."

She had a seamstress make the purse organizer prototype, connected with a manufacturer, "and the next thing I knew I had 2000 “Pouchees” coming in from China," says Crook.

Protecting her kangaroo branded Pouchees was a key part of her business plan.  Anita drafted a confidentiality agreement and hired a patent lawyer.

Melissa Thomas, with the Clemson Small Business Development Center offers free guidance on starting a company.  She says the confidentiality agreement is a must, and hiring a trustworthy patent lawyer is well worth the money.

"Make sure you check their references, ask for costumer referrals and follow up on those," said Thomas.

And she ads, beware of companies that charge large upfront fees or make bold promises.

It took about a year for the company to get off the ground, including getting a patent for these Pouchees, but Crook says since then sales have grown by 45 to 70% every year.

Her success has lead to knock-offs, so Crook says her original $1000 patent investment is paying off.

“We can go after the stores, but that's something you can't do if you don't have a patent," she said.

Armed with that protection, Crook hopes to expand her kangaroo logo brand, so her sales will keep jumping by leaps and bounds.

SECOND CAREERS - Grandmother Entrepreneur

It's never too late to start your own business

By Anita Crook on Life After 50

Aren’t most grandmothers over 60 moving towards a nice relaxing time in their lives? You know, spending time with their grandchildren, doing lunch…winding down? Well this is one senior citizen who’s just getting cranked up.

I did have a nice, quiet life. I was waiting around for grandchildren (of which I now have two by the way). Then, Christmas of 2004, that all changed. I was opening the Christmas present from my oldest son with motherly gratitude for the gift I knew I would never use. It was a great, trendy purse that I knew he had spent a lot of money on, but it had no pockets. I had to have my pockets.

Fumbling through my purse for my keys, cell phone, etc., was one of my pet peeves, but I really did love the purse. I couldn’t get it out of my mind. If only there was a way that I could stay organized and still use this purse. I checked out the Internet and the stores but found no solution that satisfied me. The "pouchee®" idea was born...

Pouchee: The Ultimate Purse Organizer Review

by Jamie at Jamie's Precious Peas Blog

You know the worst thing about changing purses to match different outfits? It's that you forget to transfer everything from one purse to another.

I can't tell you how many times I leave my lipstick in my other purse and don't even realize it until I'm out to door for a night on the town. Major bummer.

Well - I have found a really cool way to solve this issue! It's the Pouchee, the ultimate purse organizer!!
You put all your essentials in this great little divided "pouch" and simply pop it into your bag of choice. When you're ready to change bags, all you need to do is grab your pouchee and move on with your life! It even has great little "handles" that make it easy to reach in your bag! Forgetting your cell phone, wallet, keys, and lipstick is a thing of the past! And this little item is great - it really does have room for everything you carry in your purse - including your sunglasses, checkbook, and all the other things I mentioned!

My Pouchee

by Kelly Silkman at Grand Pooba Blog

No, I don't mean pouchee as in the belly fat hanging over my pants. This is something completely different, and a lot more fun to talk about (and look at).

Okay everyone, your house isn't the only thing that needs Spring cleaning. I dare all of you out there to take a look into your purse, I bet there's a million receipts, makeup, cadburry eggs, and keys. Okay maybe the Cadburry egg is just me, but just admit it, your purse is unorganized.

I'm ashamed to say that mine was too so I did a little purse Spring cleaning with my new best friend, The Pouchee!

Okay, check this out, the pouchee is a purse organizer where you can keep all of your purse necessities neatly organized so you can always find what you're looking for. Plus, when the mood strikes you to change your purse, the pouchee transfers easily from purse to purse.... read the entire review

Pouchee Review

by News from Around the Blogs!

The Pouchee Purse Organizer  came to life when the creator Anita Crook received a big purse, but with no compartments. As women we NEED the compartments. The more the merrier! The Pouchee is a purse organizer that you can fill up and easily transfer from purse to purse. I find I change purses quite often. So having the pouchee I just pick it up and transfer it over and I'm done!

They come is all different, fabrics and colors. I received a cotton Khaki Pouchee and I couldn't wait to fill it all up. Turns out I had more space left over. The Pouchee  has a compartment for everything. Credit/debit cards, cell phone, keys and business cards. I am forever losing my phone in my purse. I think I get to answer 3 out of 5 calls because I can't find my phone. Now with the pouchee it has a place just for my phone.

Innovation: Pouchee – Clever Christmas gift with inspiring back-story
by Peter at Sales Barriers

With countless stories of gifts that hit off-center, it never ceases to amaze me how some people can hit the mark with simplicity and ease. Although this may seem a story for the ladies, if you guys are looking for a smart and practical gift, the Pouchee should top your list. The Pouchee is one of those useful ideas you are left with the thought, “Why didn’t I think of that?”

Although most purses incorporate some level of organization in the form of pockets, zippered pouches, and card slots, the Pouchee takes it to a new level in the form of a transportable purse organizer. Rather than transfer all your many cards and items by hand, you can transfer your organized Pouchee from purse to purse. You simply grab the attractive rings and remove it from one purse, then slide it in place into another.

Pouchee Purse Organizer Review: The Perfect Holiday Gift for Any Woman!

purse organizer insert -pouchee purse organizers -aussieRed

I can't even tell you how many times I've held up the check-out lane at the local grocer, while digging through my huge, one-pocket slouch purse, searching for my checkbook, coupons, or change.

How many of you have found yourself on a blind search for change as you're traveling down the highway and approaching a toll booth? Raise your hand if you've ever found yourself face-deep in a dark purse, searching for your glasses, chapstick, or any other elusive essential?

How about all those times that your cell phone rings, and you miss the call because it was buried under all that internal purse clutter? Not to mention those personal safety concerns, such as trying to find your car keys in a dimly lit parking lot on the way out to your car from an evening shopping spree at the mall?

We are all guilty of a disorganized purse at one time or another. Admittedly, more often than not, I would have to dump my entire purse just to find one small item. Not anymore, though!

Pouchee Purse Organizer to the Rescue!

I was given the opportunity to review the fabulous, 'makes life so much easier' Pouchee Purse Organizer, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the transformation! I was able to fit all of my daily essentials into the pouchee!

Finding the necessary items is, now, phenomenally easy! I can finally switch purses in a flash, without the worry of leaving anything behind, or not being able to locate the essentials in a purse with an unfamiliar compartment layout.

If I had known about this when my twins were babies, life would have been so much easier. This is a perfect gift for new mothers! There's no need to carry more than your baby and a diaper bag with the Pouchee! Just toss it in the diaper bag and go. Everything you need will be neatly maintained and easily accessible.

This is the perfect holiday gift for all the women in your life -- stay-at-home moms (aka domestic engineers), career women, teachers, college students, campers, hikers, diva daughters, sisters, grandmothers, and even that nosy neighbor! Hey, it's the season of giving, right?
